Eating Disorders

Many of us eat in a mindless way. We eat when we are stressed, bored, tired or lonely. We cram food into our mouth stuffing down our emotions. We overeat or eat foods that are not nutritious   without thinking or considering what harm we may be doing to our bodies.

1.Loose the diet mentality…make peace with your body no matter what your    size

2. Eat when hungry….stop when full

3. Eat as if in the presence of another person

4. Learn about nutrition and how to satisfy your body’s needs

5. Eat food that you enjoy and is pleasing to the eye…food that keeps you     satisfied and full

6. Do not use food as a treat or punishment

7. Slow down while eating

8. Do not multitask while eating
